Tyler Backhouse

Tyler has achieved his Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management from the BCA. He started his career within kennels before moving on to working in a first opinion veterinary practice.

Tyler joined the HSR auxiliary nursing team in March 2023 to develop his skills and knowledge, and is fascinated by the variety of cases we see and the range of responsibilities his role offers. Tyler enjoys working within a specialist environment as part of our brilliant and dedicated team.

At home, Tyler has a menagerie of pets – four dogs, three snakes and a bearded dragon. In his free time, Tyler enjoys painting models, seeing friends, and training his pets.
