Marisela joined Hamilton Specialist Referrals as a Twilight Veterinary Care Assistant, bringing with her experience from a variety of sectors including retail, media and journalism, financial services, and the civil service. She studied Photography and Spanish at the University of Roehampton, alongside Animal Management at BCA College.
Marisela is passionate about supporting patients and clinical teams, particularly during surgical procedures. She enjoys the organisational aspects of her role and takes pride in ensuring everything is prepared to a high standard, helping to create a safe and efficient environment for both patients and colleagues. The opportunity to assist with highly specialised and unique surgeries whilst continuing to expand her knowledge is what particularly appealed to her about joining HSR.
Outside of work, Marisela enjoys photography, drawing, swimming and travelling. She also has a 15-year-old Bengal-cross cat called Misiek, whose name means “teddy bear” in Polish.
