Dr Jocelyn Cooper

Dr. Jocelyn Cooper is a specialist consultant in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery here at HSR. Jocelyn is a board-certified small animal neurologist and was formerly a partner and Medical Director at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency in San Antonio, Texas. She studied and qualified as a vet at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Jocelyn then completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the University of Missouri before going on to complete a three-year Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at Texas A&M in 2012 and was awarded the neurosurgery certificate in 2013.

Jocelyn enjoys spinal surgery and is particularly interested in managing inflammatory disease and seizure disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, yoga and adventures with her family.
