Heather has always been passionate about working with animals and graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a BSc Honours in Animal Biology. Heather’s dissertation focused on dog behaviour in animal shelters and was later published in an animal behaviour journal. Post-graduation Heather set up her own dog walking company and ran dog behaviour classes with the kennel club. In 2016 Heather completed her Level 3 Certificate at Greyfriars in Hydrotherapy and Treadmill Practice. Since completing her certification, she has worked at Theravet where she was exposed to and helped rehabilitate a diverse caseload of patients covering: pre and post op conditions in neurological, orthopaedic, spinal cases and soft tissue trauma.
Heather has also worked with clients on general fitness, covering geriatric and weight loss to Olympia agility champions. In her spare time Heather enjoys being outdoors, keeping fit and currently Captains the local lady’s rugby team, the High Wycombe Belles. Last year Heather rescued two cheeky cats Arlo and Delilah.
