Dr Tige Witsberger

Dr Tige Witsberger is a specialist in small animal surgery and works within both our orthopaedic and soft tissue teams as a consulting surgeon. Tige is a board-certified small animal surgeon and former hospital owner and director at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency in Texas. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.

Upon graduating, Tige completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the University of Missouri and then completed his three-year small animal surgical residency at Texas A&M University. Tige has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery including arthroscopy.  He enjoys the mix of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.  

In his free time, Tige likes to run and enjoy time with his family including his wife Jocelyn and three children. He also loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors with his wife and kids.
